“Rooted In values of social equity, justice, and interconnectedness; this urban farm on the hill serves as a model for multicultural community and a catalyst for economic development, wealth creation, community pride, and sustainability”

Frogtown Farm will provide an opportunity to preserve and enhance an open space and to create a farm in the Frogtown neighborhood. The Farm will include programs for food production, education, and garden demonstration. 13 acres, recently acquired near Lafond and Victoria by the City of Saint Paul with assistance from the Trust For Public Land, include approximately 6 acres suitable for a Farm; the rest is being developed as a park by the City. Depending on community feedback, Frogtown Farm and Park could be a site for food production, storage, manufacturing, and/or distribution. Reaching beyond its own acreage and the Frogtown neighborhood, Frogtown Farm and Park could be a place for community gathering, celebration, learning, reflection, growth, and the sharing of food! Rooted in values of social equity, justice, and inter-connectedness, this urban farm on the hill could serve as a model for multi-cultural community and a catalyst for economic development, wealth creation, community pride, and sustainability.
